World of Warcraft’s Shadowlands Season 1 Arena Circuit is underway, with the top eight teams in both Europe and North America battling out to determine the top four of each region.

The new WoW Arena Circuit is a new system that aims to elevate the four best teams in each region. The teams that make this feat will then head to the Global Finals for Shadowlands Season 1, determining the world’s best team.

The new circuit is underway after several cups have concluded since January. As it stands, the top eight teams of each region include big names in North America, like the Golden Guardians, OTK, Method NA, and Cloud 9. Over in Europe, the scene’s legends, including Method EU and Skill Capped EU are present.

The first week of the event has already concluded, with several shocks already in place. Method EU is currently 0-2 after facing some shocking upsets already. Furthermore, teams in North America maintain the expected.

But the upcoming weekend is another opportunity to reshape the ladder. The WoW Arena Circuit Season 1 has several more weeks to go before the Circuit comes to an end. This weekend’s schedule includes the likes of Method EU taking on Reload, which is a battle to get one team out of the bottom of the standings. The event also features an interesting matchup with OTK fighting Method NA, the former home of the 2018 BlizzCon Champion, Chuck “Cdew” Dewland.

The end of Week 2 will see the circuit reach the halfway point, which will have a break before returning for the second half of the season.
