Ubisoft has announced Rainbow Six Extraction; the title is the game which is the long rumoured Rainbow Six Quarantine / Parasite.

The game is one of Ubisoft big titles, blending into the already established Rainbow Six Siege. The game is a spin-off from the esports title. The game features both Attacker and Defender Operators teaming up to tackle a virus spreading worldwide and causing new alien threats to face.

Instead, the game takes the same concepts of Rainbow Six Siege, making it a tactical shooter entirely focused on co-op PVE experience. Ubisoft didn’t reveal much else regarding the title, other than it is one of its big showcases during the Ubisoft Forward broadcast, as part of the E3 2021 conference.

But, if we are into some speculation, Rainbow Six Extraction was essentially prototyped from a Rainbow Six Siege 2018 Limited-Time Event. Several attackers and defenders from Siege at the time joined forces and took on coop challenges teased throughout several different maps in the regular game. Eventually, it launched as part of the Lion and Finka content release shortly after the Six Invitational 2018.

The gameplay itself had elements of hostage defend, horde mode and bomb defence. While Rainbow Six Extraction will undoubtedly be more advanced, it remains a mystery as to what to expect. Tune into the Ubisoft Forward event on Saturday, June 12 at 12:00 PT, 15:00 ET 20:00 BST for more information on the title. Rainbow Six Extraction gets accompanied by other Ubisoft titles, including Far Cry 6, and other Tom Clancy Content.
