As Fortnite approaches the end of Chapter 2: Season 7 players are well into the Wild Weeks and the special challenges and item availability changes that come with them. Chapter 2: Season 7 is far from over, however. Epic Games continues to be hard at work, releasing new skins that are either relevant to the season’s theme or the other characters that have recently been released, like definitely-not-an-alien Human Bill or Superman’s friend Wonder Woman.

Well known Fortnite leaker HYPEX has found Morty Smith from the popular Adult Swim animated comedy show Rick and Morty in the game’s code, presumably to be added as a playable character in an approaching update. His grandfather Rick Sanchez is currently the Tier 100 skin reward in Fortnite’s Chapter 2: Season 7 Battle Pass, so players will finally be able to be either member of the duo in the game’s many different multiplayer game modes.

Fans were previously unsure if Morty would make it into the game because of his height, but where there’s a will, there’s a way. In Fortnite, Morty Smith will ride around in a metal exosuit that removes the issue and puts him on a level playing field with the rest of the Fortnite cast. His set will also include an animated “Space Snake” harvesting tool and a “Get Schwifty” song and dance emote, both of which are references to episodes of the hit television show.  We expect the skin to cost between 1500 and 2000 v-bucks when it releases.
