With Call of Duty Vanguard out of the bag, many fans of the CoD series are excited for the return to the WW2 setting. Many people are interested in the Call of Duty Vanguard system requirements in the hope of joining the upcoming Alpha and Beta and full release later on November 9. Not to mention, many people want to play CoD because of its guaranteed inclusion into Warzone. Below you’ll find the Call of Duty Vanguard system requirements detailing the minimum requirements, recommended requirements and any luxurious graphical framerate options.

Call of Duty Vanguard Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 64 bit
  • Processor (CPU): Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300
  • Memory (RAM): 8GB RAM
  • Video (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 / GeForce GTX 1650 or Radeon HD 7950
  • HDD: 270 GB

The Call of Duty minimum specs highlights the very basics you need to actually play the game. By no means are these settings recommended, as the game will run at a rather low framerate and will look not particularly great. You can play the game, but your skill will accommodate the fact that your PC won’t carry you.

Call of Duty Vanguard Recommended Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64 bit
  • Processor (CPU): Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600X processor
  • Memory (RAM): 12GB RAM
  • Video (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 / GTX 1660 or
  • Radeon R9 390 / AMD RX 580
  • HDD: 270 GB

The recommended specs for the Call of Duty Vanguard system requirements are fairly reasonable. The Nvidia 970 GPU is what my PC had to play Modern Warfare all the way back in 2019. It ran for the most part, but I did make sure to turn everything to low settings so I could abuse the 144hz monitor. In Gaming Verdict’s opinion, the more frames the better for a game like Call of Duty because of how fast-paced it is.

Call of Duty Vanguard Ultra / Competitive

  • OS: Windows 10 64 bit
  • Processor (CPU): Intel i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 1800X
  • Memory (RAM): 16GB RAM
  • Video (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 / RTX 2070 SUPER or Radeon RX Vega Graphics
  • HDD: 270 GB

If you are a fan of the Call of Duty series on PC, you may have noticed nothing has actually changed between the last three CoD games. The reason why is because all of the new CoD games run on the same engine that first launched with Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019). Moreso, all three of the CoD games intertwine with Call of Duty Warzone. Therefore, all the various CoD developers cannot go too hard on making each game too different in terms of the engine or graphical quality. If you have played any of the last three CoD titles on your PC and you found it worked fine, then Vanguard will not bother your specs this time around.

Note that this is probably one of the easier to run games launching in 2021. We anticipate the likes of Battlefield 2042 system requirements being much harder to run.
