Operation Crimson Heist is the latest Rainbow Six Siege season, which kicks off its sixth year. The new season brings plenty of new changes, including a new operator, Flores, Border’s rework, the Gonne-6, and more. Here are all the highlights relating to the new Rainbow Six Siege Patch Notes.

Flores

Flores is the new Attacking side Rainbow Six Siege operator. The operator is an attacker, equipped with an explosive drone that anchors to structures it comes in contact with when the device initiates. Furthermore, the drone becomes armored when it anchors, taking out all those unreinforced in its immediate proximity, including operators.

When building Flores loadout, players can choose between the AR33 assault rifle or the SR-25 MM rifle, with Gadgetchoiced between the Claymore of Flashbangs. Flashbangs fit well with his two armor two-speed capacity, making him an okay angle peaker and pusher. The claymore is best used with protecting Flores from getting pushed while droning.

Border Rework

Border is one of Rainbow Six Siege’s oldest maps, and it is getting a rework to make the old timer look younger and better. The new map comes with changes to Customs, with a much more functional Armory and Lockers. Defenders will feel much less claustrophobic in the Armory, while the Customs area feels much more intuitive. Furthermore, Showers is another area with more pathing options, making it less of a dead-end than it was.

Gonne-6

The Gonne-6 is the new secondary gadget arriving with the Rainbow Six Siege Patch Notes. The secondary is available to several attacking operators and acts as a hand cannon. The weapon is designed to destroy bulletproof cameras, deployable shields and other durable defender utility. The sidearm will reshape the game, making the attackers much more favourable, as opposed to the recent defense sided meta.

Match Replay System

The Match Replay System is a new feature coming to the game, bringing with it the ability to watch vods of your games. The mode features the ability to speed up, free camera, and watch other people’s perspectives at will. It is one of the biggest quality of life changes available, allowing players to learn the game and check out what got them killed at their own pace. Alternatively, it will be a good method for catching cheaters, with the ability to watch a potential cheater’s perspective and report them for it.

Download Size and Launch Time

Ubisoft has released the information regarding the size of the patch. The game is a 10GB patch for Steam, 22-27GB for PlayStation 4 and 5, 17GB for Xbox, and a whopping 33GB for UPLAY. The patch goes live around 13:00 EDT, 18:00 GMT 19:00 CET, 10:00 PST on March 16.
