League of Legends Live Orchestra is finally happening. The delayed 2020 event is no available in South Korea in a live setting for April 2 -3. Here are the details.

LoL’s Live Orchestra brings the sounds and songs of the game to life. The Sejong Center for Performing Arts in Seoul is the host of the magnificent event. Featured songs from League of Legends esports include Warriors, by the Imagine Dragons, along with songs from the game’s soundtrack. The live concert is also going to do a rendition of a song from the in-game metal band, Pentakill.

The League of Legends Live Orchestra will cement itself in Seoul history. Sejong Performing Center’s first-ever live performance is the LoL Orchestra. South Korea is one of the biggest countries for League of Legends interest, making it an appropriate feature for the venue’s inaugural event.

KBS Symphony Orchestra, one of the most renowned Korea Orchestras with a long history in the country is the band performing the event. The Symphony has performed thousands of songs across the years, with man song from around the world. However, this is the first time they will perform music for a video game.

They join the likes of the Danish National Symphony, which have previously played Orchestral rendition of games like World of Warcraft. 

The KBS Symphony was previously scheduled to run through November 27 and 28 in 2020, but it was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns. At the time, South Korean numbers averaged around 115, but the current seven-day average is 445. The statistical comparison is interesting, and we may get more updates on this as the event gets closer. This is one of the first events relating to gaming and esports to get a live audience. Not event the MSI event scheduled for May in Iceland is expected to not have an audience, despite its low daily infections.

Fans can attend the venue for 20,000 won, which converts to $17 at the basic price. There is no information regarding a live stream alternative, but there may be official vods in the future.
