Bayonetta 3

Bayonetta is an action hack and series that is getting a third instalment. However, the peculiar thing about Boyentta 3 is that it has been heavily delayed, even before the COIVD-19 Pandemic. Consequently, we haven’t heard much since and are not likely to for a while either.

Despite this, Nintendo is going big on 2021 games, with several huge Nintendo Direct already. E3 looks to continue the trend as well, so a progress update for the game could make a nice surprise. Furthermore, the game is getting developed as a Nintendo Switch only game. If the Nintendo Switch Pro gets a full reveal, it could mean Bayonetta 3 is back on the menu for all those fans of the game.

Breath of the Wild 2

2021 marks the 35 anniversary of the Zelda genre, with The Legend of Zelda dropping on February 21 1986, in Japan. It could mean we could be due for some big announcements coming for the Zelda franchise.

One of the more realistic areas to look at for this feat is Breath of the Wild 2. While the game has already been announced at previous conventions, the game could reappear ahead of the hallmark.

Creative Assembly’s Sci-Fi FPS

It is no secret that Sega is cooking up something spicy for the next few years. One of them is their UK games development studio, Creative Assembly. The studio is famous for its work on the Total War historical games and, more recently, taking their game to the Warhammer Fantasy universe.

Although, the developer is cooking up a new Sci-Fi FPS game based on current hirings. So, it could be time for us to see some Reveal Trailers for the title to build excitement for a new venture for the strategic office. After all, this is entirely possible, as E3 is notorious for getting the big headlines out, and the reveal of this title could certainly be the case.

Elder Scrolls 6

Elder Scrolls 6 is the confirmed next instalment of the popular fantasy RPG series. While we only saw a mere teaser glimpse of the game. Although, since then more and more conversations are happening around the game with its apparent Redguard setting. It could be time to show the world how far the game has come in three years, along with some new next-generation looks. The Elder Scrolls: Online can only contain people for so long.

Final Fantasy Spinoff

According to leaks on Reddit and Gaming forums, a new Final Fantasy game is currently in development. While the leaks are not exactly trusted sources, it adds speculation about what we could see at E3 2021. The game is supposedly in the development team behind Ninja Gaiden, Nioh, and more.

Apparently, the game is supposed to be set closer to the original Final Fantasy setting and could take on the role of Dark Souls esque Final Fantasy game. We’ll have to wait and see the validity of the post.

Guardians of the Galaxy Game

E3 2021 rumours have once again begun to surface about the Guardians of the Galaxy Game. Square Enix is had this under wraps pretty tightly, but a week before its big press conference at E3 and the ball seems to have slipped. The source originally came from a YouTuber named Jeff Grubb’s Game Mess but has since been mentioned by Jason Schreier.

Whether there is any truth regarding this title is not sure, but it seems to have gone under the radar for many fans and could be a nice surprise to close the show out.

Marvel XCOM

Ever since the Marvel Avengers game reveal was incredibly popular, Marvel is interested in porting their IP to a new medium. With Square Enix in charge of the Marvel gaming portfolio, they’ll undoubtedly continue building their momentum up. One of these that seems all but confirmed now is the Marvel XCOM title.

XCOM is a trooper turn-based tactics game with individual characters that level up and become stronger throughout the campaign. However, if they die in-game, then they die for good. It is going to be an interesting spin on the genre filled with pre-established characters.

Nintendo Switch Pro

The Nintendo Switch Pro has been getting lots and lots more hype over the last few weeks. The new console is the mid-life span iteration of the console, creating a better display as one of its core features. Furthermore, it is supposed to use 4K streaming tech for Nvidia, catching the console up to the new-gen consoles released at the back end of 2020.

We could very well see Nintendo properly announce the console during their Nintendo Direct event on June 15. However, it is equally possible they can debut it slightly early, with Ubisoft pulling that move with Extraction.

Starfield

Bethesda made some pretty big announcements several years ago, but nothing much has come from them since. One of the most prominent of the lot is Starfield, Bethesda’s major space-faring RPG title. However, the game has not appeared all that much since then. Although the game is supposed to be their big next-gen title, now that the new consoles are out, we could get a more comprehensive look.

While seeing the game much more closely is a nice addition, there is one more huge factor to think about – exclusivity. PlayStation is a prominent candidate for exclusivity for the consoles, and with Microsoft getting Bethesda, Starfield could become the Microsoft big exclusivity draw for Windows 10 Xbox and PC.

Steam Console

Steam has some big E3 2021 rumours flying around over a portable Steam console. While we are not exactly too sure what it is all about, it could mean Steam is going more mobile-friendly. It is not the first invention Steam has used to make their platform accessible, with Steam Big Picture and consistent talks with Microsoft. So the opportunity is very much there.

If there is a Steam Console, there are two places it could be revealed. The first one is the PC Gamer Show, as PC Gamer has confirmed. Valve is making an appearance. Morso, Steam is doing their show later in June, so we could get it then.

Overall, our 10 potential E3 2021 rumours and leaks may appear during the Summer Game Fest and E3 press conferences. Some of them are based on hunches, while some are hopeful things. Either way, Sega, Nintendo and Square Enix seems to have a very big E3 coming up, and that is good news after a year of delays, setbacks, and stock shortages.
