A new threat is coming from above… 🛰

Black Ops Cold War Fans can expect some new multiplayer maps and a game mode, adding more competitive content. Season 4 features three new maps, one called Collateral with different map sizes based on game mode. Furthermore, there is a new 2V2 map called Amsterdam, along with a Hijacked game mode for 6v6. Hijacked is a revamped map from Black Ops 3, which means it joins the ranks of Nuke Town and other Blops maps to get a new spin on the current-gen CoD game.
Likewise, Zombies is getting a big update in Call of Duty Season 4. The new map features something that appears to be a dragon, along with zombies running around with flaming skulls. There also appears to be outdoor spaces on the map, as well as a tube station with fully moving carriages. Also, it appears the zombies and bosses can use the rail lines for their own gains too.
But the most exciting part of the new Call of Duty Season 4 content is the Twitch Rivals event. Activision esports teams up with Twitch to create a Twitch Rivals even on June 22. The event takes place in Verdansk, with five captains creating squads to take over a CoD Warzone event. As it stands, the team captains are:
The five captains are all huge streamers and personalities within the Call of Duty space. It will be a great spin on the game, especially since Verdansk seems to be getting more and more crossover with esports. The five captains will lead their team to glory, for a share of the $300,000 USD up for grabs. Very recently the 2020 CoD League winner’s got a trophy at Verdansk Stadium. There is certainly some natural storytelling waiting ahead on the Twitch Rivals Event.
