The Winter Circuit is the event this weekend, running on the latest Chaos Theory Patch. Teams who perform well at the event slot themselves into the Championship. If team’s don’t make it through either event, there is always the Last Chance Qualifier,  which offers teams the final spots at the Championship.

When it comes to the Apex Legends Global Series Championships, 40 teams will compete in each of the North America and EMEA Championships. On the other side of the globe, 30 teams will compete in each APAC North, APAC South, and South America Championships. At the start of every Championship, teams will be divided into groups of ten. A Round Robin schedule will see each group compete against each other group before total points across the Group Stage are used to advance 20 teams into their region’s Championship Finals. There is a special award for each region, the Apex Predator, for the players who love to frag. The Apex Predator is the player who earned the most kills throughout the Championship Finals for every region. If there is a tie, Respawns will divide the prize between every player on the same score.
