Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling understands gamers. If you ignore their pleas of new features and upgrades, it will bite you in the arse. If you listen to them and give them what they want, they will probably still bite you in the arse anyway. Infinity Ward has chosen to do second option in an attempt to push Call of Duty 4 even higher than the number one spot on Xbox Live.

Gamers will have new battlefields to wage war on.

Call of Duty 4’s new update is being checked over and will be released soon with its already announced features. But what will the new DLC bring? According to Robert Bowling there is an upcoming downloadable map pack that includes 3 new maps. He won’t directly describe the new maps, but he will say that they are exactly what the fans have been asking for. Bigger maps with more buildings and more close-quarters combat.

These new maps are currently in the play-testing stage and should be released to the general public soon enough. No prices were mentioned for the DLC.
