Nintendo announced that its DS is getting a new color just before Valentine’s Day -- Cobalt/Black. The popular handheld already comes in six other colors including Polar White, Coral Pink, Onyx, Gold (limited edition and Metallic Rose). Nintendo describes the new color as "like a black T-shirt with a splash of color."

If you’ve been holding off from purchasing the DS, which sold over 8.5 million units in the U.S. in 2007, the new Cobalt/Black colored Nintendo DS goes on sale starting on February 10, 2008.
