Nintendo announce online voice communications for Wii
Posted by ben-k, 179 days ago Jul 15, 2008 12:02

Nintendo have revealed details of Animal Crossing: City Folk on Wii, with a new hardware addon, WiiSpeak, allowing online voice communications.

Rather than using a headset configuration, a-la Xbox live, the WiiSpeak is designed to sit atop the TV, presumably featuring an omnidirectional mic, picking up voices from anyone in the room.

Both Animal Crossing and WiiSpeak are to be available "by year end".

Prev: Three other Square Enix RPG’s for 360 within next 12 months
Next: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars announced for DS
