Spike TV released a news statement today outlining their future shows. They announced that on May 9th, they will have the first in-game footage of Gears of War 2. The release is below:

Spike TV announced today that "GameTrailers TV with Geoff Keighley" will unveil the global premiere of gameplay footage from Microsoft Game Studios and Epic Games’ highly-anticipated Gears of War 2, in stunning high-definition. Gamers will get their first-ever look at Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad’s latest adventure with a special clip introduced by Epic Games’ Lead Designer Cliff Bleszinski.

Tune in Spike TV on Friday, May 9th, at 1:00 a.m. ET/PT to see Gears of War 2 for the first time.
